And just think, all this started because I got out run by 4.0 Jeep
Wrangler in my previous 99 Dakota CC 3.9L. My thought was
"The next time you pull up beside Grand Pa, you'll not out run
him". I haven't seem that little sucker since but I'm ready and
waiting. I have never owned anything as powerful and as much of
a thrill to drive. Martha don't understand when the smoke starts
boiling, but when I get too old to spin a wheel, throw dirt in my
face boys because I'll be dead.
As of October 30, 2006, the last trip to the dyno after the
installation of the 1.7 roller rockers and the self modified stock
intake, my truck has increased in horsepower and torque quiet a
bit. Stock numbers were 250hp and 345 ft/lb torque. The final
numbers are now 295hp and 393 ft/lb torque. GIT'ER DONE!!
